WHO WE ARE
Ken Taylor N.Z.C.D.Arch. L.B.P. Design 2 M.D.A.N.Z. is the manager and designer at Designshop Architecture. He has several decades of experience in development, conceptual design, contract documention and administration of:

WHAT WE DO
We cover conceptual architectural design, contract documents, and obtaining resource and building consents. Commissions include new work, re-modelling and additions, across a wide variety of building types, sizes and budgets for individual private clients, developers, institutions and government work.
We can assist with costing, tendering, obtaining building contractors, resource consents, and specialist consultants as required by clients. All clients receive an initial free and no obligation consultation. We will then supply a fee quotation, usually a fixed fee, but sometimes a capped hourly rate where a fixed fee is not practicable.

We design all projects from first principles so the completed building will look and function well over it's lifespan, with normal maintenance. We aren't beholden to current fashions or fads. All our buildings are eco friendly and have been for decades but we don't shout about it. Good design speaks for itself.

DESIGNPACK: Full service including brief, conceptual design, costing option, 3D views and contract documents.
DRAWPACK: Prepare contract documents from supplied plans.
CONSENTPACK: Obtain building consent and process RFI's. Excludes Council fees.
RESOURCEPACK: Obtain resource consent.Excludes Council fees.
